Villa Ambiente was built in 2005 by a Swiss family. The mountain location offers dream like beauty and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

By using only the finest building materials they created a most comfortable hotel with eight tastefully decorated rooms and one suite.
At an altitude of 250 meters   ( 750  feet  )  you may expect pleasant temperatures and a fresh ocean breeze while you are surrounded by the magical beauty of nature and the exotic flowers, plants  and animals of the rainforest.

The location 5 km (3 miles) south of Dominical in the direction Marino Ballena National Park is very peaceful, yet offers many opportunities for recreation. Within a few driving minutes you can reach the surfers paradise of Dominical ,where you can also experience activities like horseback riding, whale watching, fishing, diving, snorkeling, nature- walks, white water rafting, zip lining, and many more.

Thanks to the new Caldera Highway and because the road between Quepos and Dominical is finally asphalted you can now reach one of the most beautiful destinations in Costa Rica within about 3 hours from the airport in San Jose.

Sections of the road from the Costanera highway to Villa Ambiente can be a little steep. We therefore recommend you use a 4x4 vehicle.
